I started taking painting and drawing classes and painting in oil as a small child and later on I studied at Adelaide Central School of Art with some great Australian artists like Chris Orchard or Anna Platten. I lived in Adelaide and Melbourne and exhibited in Sydney. Currently I am living in Brasov.
I want to paint the gaze of human soul - the ineffable, feelings that cannot be expressed in words and are more subtle than love, desire, pain etc.
I wish to depict the most fragile inner part of a human, the most fragile part of myself, when my soul is the one of a child.
I want to paint the beauty of organic inner growth - of the soul - so 'child' is the best metaphor I can find for it.
On the other hand, I am drawn to childhood, because it is the time when a person takes life as it is and lives it to the full, every single day and every single minute. The child is whole and complete.
